jamie eason. hubba hubba!!

When a sexy song comes on and no one is around...

“I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”—Michael Jordan

Avocados are sodium and cholesterol-free and have only five grams
of fat per serving, most of it the monounsaturated kind (healthy fats)

Brazilians add avocados to ice cream (and filos add milk and sugar to avocado!)

Filipinos puree avocados with sugar and milk for a dessert drink (obviously i got excited and hadn't read this line yet haha)

Avocados have the highest protein content of any fruit.
Avocados contain more potassium than bananas.
Once an avocado is picked, it takes between 7 and 10 days to ripen. Keeping it in the refrigerator will slow down the ripening process, while putting it in a paper bag with a ripe apple will speed up the process.

Sweet Potato Chips

Brush a thin coat of oil on a cookie sheet, put into a 230 degree oven for five minutes.
Meanwhile, wash and slice one sweet potato into very thin rounds using a mandolin or a sharp knife. Toss them in olive oil and salt and pepper. Lay out the chips on the hot cookie sheet (don’t let them overlap).
Bake for five minutes, or until you can see the chips start to brown slightly. Flip them over, turn the cookie sheet and bake for another five minutes.
If they are still a little chewy in the centre, turn the cookie sheet once again and crank the oven down to 150 degrees Celsius — and give them a few minutes to continue drying out without getting more colour.
When they are lightly browned (but not dark), the edges have curled and the tops look pretty dry remove them to a rack to cool. They will continue crisping up as they cool.

saw this on facebook today and thought it was a good idea to get a little bit of fitness in during your day!
you can do plyo lunges, push ups, clapping push ups, DB bicep curls, flys, mountain climbers, anything!
just sorta have to remind yourself every hour :P

Study Says B Vitamins May Help Prevent PMS Symptoms

It's one thing to decrease your PMS symptoms. But it's a whole other thing to prevent them all together! After all, what woman wouldn't mind just bypassing the mood swings, aches and bloating every month? According to new research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, eating certain foods that are high in thiamine (B1) and riboflavin (B2) may do just that in some women.
Researchers looked at 3,000 women's diets and found that in those who had high amounts of B vitamins had a significantly lower risk of suffering from PMS. The catch though? Supplements didn't make much of a difference, so scientists recommend that women boost their thiamine and riboflavin intake through food sources such as fortified cereals, spinach, soy or cow milk and whole grains

(might start increasing my intake of these foods at that time seeing as i bite my partner's head off for a week straight and can change moods like madman. i swear it's insane, i'll be so happy one moment then the next i'll be jealous & crying over something petty lol  OH THE JOYS!!)

My simple workout the other day:

Run 2 laps of footy field
20 jump squats
30 full push ups
40 plyometric lunges
30 burpees

2 sets
No rest between exercises
2 min rest between sets
simple but gets your heart pumping

have a great weekend everyone!!!!!!!!!!
