:: Banana Smoothie ::

Serves 2

Ingredients

2 cups skim milk (or soy!)
2 bananas roughly chopped
½ natural yogurt (optional)
1 tablespoon honey
½ tablespoon cinnamon
Ice cubes
 

Method

Place all ingredients in the blender,
Blend until smooth

For some variety, you can:

- add chocolate protein powder for a delicious & healthy banana & choc smoothie
- add nuts, then blend for a yummy nutritional boost
- add half a weetbix for added fibre
- add berries (frozen or fresh) for more antioxidants
- add spinach (don't stop reading!).. this adds a TON of vitamins & minerals and yes it will
turn your smoothie green but trust me when I say that you won't be able to
taste the veg AT ALL. Tried and tested by yours truly.

Lots of variations for a healthy snack or breakfast :)
