February 17, 2011


went for a run yesterday despite feelings of laziness.
sometimes all you have to do is put on your shoes
and trick your mind into thinking you're only going for a "quick walk".
before you know it, you're out on the pavement with your running buddy
in the form of a German Shepherd;
the wind whipping your hair (willow smith style),
your lungs screaming for mercy,
and endorphins bounding their way across your body
infiltrating your very insides.

before i knew it, my workout was done
i was a sweaty mess
and there was a big smile on my face
:)


breakfast:
1 slice light rye toast with peanut butter and organic honey
sprinkle of white chia seeds
tea with skim milk
omnomnom
